The purpose of Personal Evangelism Ministries is, and has been to aggressively equip Christian with the basic tools for winning souls. Personal Evangelists are those who are trained to share Christ in a non-threatening manner with friends and family hungry for the gospel. Those who nurture the growth of Christians through discipleship, share the hope, joy and love of Jesus Christ. Although the tools change, the process has not changed because people have not changed. People are still led to Christ by a friend, one on one. Personal Evangelism Purpose: To continue personal evangelism training. To broaden evangelism to include hospitality and friendship. To focus on prayer that results in more people coming to know Christ. To encourage Sunday School classes and other small groups in assimilating the outsider. To develop products that help people better reach out. To urge churches to become evangelistic. To advocate evangelism as a process as well as a dynamic spiritual moment. To help people talk about God naturally, winsomely and convincingly. |
